Welp, it’s official, Halle Berry is a mom! Halle Berry gave birth to her first baby ever, a girl. No word yet what her name will be but sources say mom and baby are healthy and doing well.

The Associated Press reported that although they are having a baby together “Berry had said she and Aubry don’t plan to marry, but feel fully committed to each other.”

Honestly, if I had Halle Berry’s track record with men (not completely her fault!) I doubt marriage would be the first thing on my list either. You can be a committed little family without that piece of paper.

Congrats to Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry!

UPDATE: Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry have decided to name their baby Nahla Ariela Aubry. I don’t even know how one would even possibly pronounce that name. Apparently though it means “drink of water”. Maybe they were afraid she’d grow up to be…unattractive and wanted to associate her name with something that exudes beauty. You know, “That girl is a tall drink of water.”
