Surprising news today, Scarlett Johansson is engaged. I bet you are thinking WHAT?! Because I am. I didn’t even know Johansson was seeing anyone, let alone seriously enough to be engaged, but according to MSN Movies, it’s true.

Who is she engaged to? Ryan Reynolds. He’s 31 years old and she’s 23 years old. Not TOO far apart so I guess thats good. And I guess they’ve been seeing each other for a while? Well not that long, but longer than Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon.

Reynolds proposed marriage to the beauty over the weekend while she was on the set of his new movie with Sandra Bullock called . . . The Proposal. OH! See what he did there? It’s a movie called proposal so it’s probably about someone proposing and then HE proposed to Scarlett Johansson on the set? Genius.

Ryan Reynolds was also engaged to Alanis Morissette not too long ago, and that didn’t turn out well . . . obviously.
