It was so hot in my house that I could not sleep last night. So it pretty much goes without saying that by the time morning came, I couldn’t wake up either. On mornings like these there is nothing better than going to a local coffee shop, or gigantic coffee chain, for a little wake up call.

Now I don’t know if anyone else has ever heard of this but Starbucks just came out with a delightful treat called Dulce de Leche, so I decided to try it. Surprise! Not to toot the horn of this big evil giant but it was the perfect blend of coffee, milk and caramel; just the right amount of sweetness. It’s so rich that I’m still sipping on it.

What a way to make a bleak tired day down go smooth!
