Here’s a weird story about a robbery gone stupid for you to chew on.

In Chicago an 18 year old kid burst into a muffler shop waving a gun and demanded that the employee’s open the safe and give him all the money in it. The workers told the kid that only the manager knew how to open the safe and he was going to be out for a few hours.

This did NOT deter the stupid kid from trying to rob these guys. What did he do? He asked for a pen and paper, wrote down his cell phone number and asked the employee’s to please call him when the manager came back so that he could resume robbing them. Ummm!

So instead when the stupid kid left the employees of the muffler shop called the cops, explained what happened and the cops set up a sting. You know, they went to the shop undercover, told the employees to call the kid and tell him the manager was back. Guess what? The kid cam rushing over and when he got there, again waiving his gun, there were the cops. Of course he went nuts so they shot him in the leg, but he’s going to be ok . . . at least physically. His mental state has been a question from the get go.

Moral of the story? If you try to rob a place and the only one who knows the combo to the safe is gone, just walk away. Just back up out of that place like you were neeeever there. DON’T leave incriminating stuff behind for the cops to get you. Okay?
