Sad news today as the drummer from the hit 70’s and 80’s group, ABBA, was found dead in his garden Sunday night.

Ola Brunkert, 62 years old, was found dead in his garden with cuts to his neck. Fortunately, and unfortunately, after an autopsy the incident was declared an accident.

According to MSN, “The spokesman said Brunkert hit his head against a glass door in his dining room, shattering the glass and cutting himself in the neck. He managed to wrap a towel around his neck and left the house to seek help, but collapsed in the garden.”

A truly unfortunate accident and a great loss for the world. ABBA was great and it took each member of that band to make it so. Brunkert wasn’t only ABBA’s drummer, he was also a jazz drummer for some prominent Jazz bands and was said to have tons of talent.
