It’s the most important time of the year, no, not the holidays! It’s the time of year when I get a brand new baby in my life! Just in time for Christmas, the perfect gift!

My older sister, my best friend, my kindred spirit and her husband had their first baby on Saturday around 6:20AM after a looooong labor! He’s 7 pounds 2 oz, 17 inches (totally perfect) and is named Boston. Cute right?

If you thought his name was cute you probably shouldn’t see his face because you’d probably die of joy. I guess it’s better than dying of being scared to death, but life is better so just stay alive alright?

I can’t tell you how brave my sister is. I’ve never seen anyone work so hard for something in their life! She was a total fighter and is my hero not only for what she did in the delivery room but for being such an awesome, kind and patient person during 9 months of carrying that bundle around! And her husband was a total sport. He was a great coach in there and made sure he was doing anything and everything to keep the room stress free for new mommy. Having a baby is hard. I’m so proud of these two!

Congrats to the three of you! It’s been a wild ride and it’s about to get even better!
